This role offers the chance to be a key part of the management team, working closely with colleagues across all levels of the business to ensure smooth and efficient operations. While this is not a people management role, your leadership and coordination skills will be vital in driving process improvements, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production goals are met. About the Role As the Manufacturing Team Lead, you will: Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Production Controller to align manufacturing operations with business needs. Oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company quality standards. Manage consumables, raw materials, and call-offs with steel suppliers for multiple facilities. Investigate and resolve Production Defect Reports (PDRs). Support the setting and operation of plant, press tools, and equipment. Coordinate machine calibration and organise repairs and maintenance as required. Ensure compliance with current legislation and standards in the factory and warehouse. Identify and implement productivity and efficiency improvements. Assist in product development and ensure adequate personnel coverage during absences. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will bring: A solid background in tooling engineering, press tools, and/or procurement. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications. A flexible approach to work and a collaborative, respectful attitude. Experience or understanding of press shops and industrial power presses would be highly advantageous. Why Join Us?
