We are seeking an experienced Office Assistant to join our dynamic team at Brook Street in Newport. As an Office Assistant, you will play a key role in providing administrative support to our staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office.
The successful candidate will have a background in the Lettings Industry and be confident in dealing with clients. You will be responsible for carrying out general office duties, including typing, copying, binding, scanning, filing, and reception work.
Duties Include:
* Managing computer and manual filing systems
* Providing information to internal colleagues and external enquirers
* Liaising with vendors, landlords, tenants, and contractors
* Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
* Developing and updating administrative systems to make them more efficient
* Managing staff appointments
* Organizing maintenance issues, landlord requests, and tenant requests
* Greeting and assisting visitors to the office
* Viewings of available properties and negotiating
Key Skills Required:
* Proof of passing Rent Smart Wales examinations
* Knowledge of office administration procedures
* The ability to work effectively in a busy environment
* Confident in dealing with clients
* Computer literate with knowledge of Excel and Word
* Full UK driving licence
We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. The hours of work will be from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday work may be required.
