About the role
Morrison Water Services is recruiting for a Planning Support Supervisor to work on our Water Alliance contract in Wales.
As the Planning Support Supervisor you will be part of our Planning Function who are responsible for all planning activities associated with Repair & Maintenance, Metering, New Connections, Reinstatement and Streetworks.
Your working hours will be 11:30am - 8:00pm, Monday to Friday. This role is home based, we do have a local office in Clydach if you did wish to work part of your day with the Team.
As the Support Planning Supervisor, you will oversee and take responsibility for all activities associated with Repair & Maintenance, Metering, New Connections, Live Reinstatement and Streetworks. You will be responsible for the 24-hour support function to ensure all planning activities are covered and a handover is provided from each shift.
You will be responsible for supporting the contract to achieve all KRA’s associated with planning activities and demonstrate performance management in areas that are not being achieved.You will be responsible for areas that directly impact both planning and operational functions i.e., maximising productivity, safe dig packs and all activities associated with planning, noticing and system closure.
You will be required to actively contribute to support C-MEX and D-MEX outputs, Streetworks Compliance and Cost of Failure. You will work collaboratively with our client and professionally represent the Water Network Alliance and Morrison Water Services. You will support the business with new ways of working, support change within the team, help deliver contract objectives and promote Morrison Water Services Values.
As the Planning Support Supervisor your responsibilities will include:
1. Health & Safety – Drive consistent safe working practices at all times.
2. Ensure all commercial activities are completed and supported with the right process maps.
3. Ensure system management is to a high standard
4. Support the contract to achieve/mitigate KRA performance.
5. Maximise and drive productivity to achieve contract targets.
6. Actively contribute to the planning departments performance, engage and support new ways of working
7. Take responsibility for all HR process and procedures.
8. Promote the companies’ values.
