Vetro is actively seeking experienced Learning Disability Support Workers on behalf of a client based in Pembroke Dock, on a temp-to-perm basis. The client supports adults with complex needs associated with autism. A mix of education, care, and therapeutic support to provide placements for unique individuals. The client will provide full essential training to ensure the correct support is provided.

The role:
What you'll be doing as a Learning Disability Support Worker:
You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs, including observing, monitoring and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty. You will be helping with their Progression through a care pathway to live as independently as possible. You will have the support of a team of multi-professionals.

A minimum of 6 months experience of working within a social care setting in the UK
*
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one
