About the role:
With ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years, we need a capable individual to provide a key support role to the commercial function of the Attachments division. The role requires a data driven individual with strong business acumen. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Specialist within the Attachments Division, reporting to the Commercial Manager - Attachment. The Commercial Specialist role is a key position within the Attachments Division and is an integral part of driving profitable growth.
What does this role involve day to day?
1. Deliver insightful commercial analysis with reports and dashboards to support decision making.
2. Support business case development for new products & pricing strategies.
3. Work cross functionally with the product, engineering, purchasing and finance team to help develop the global pricing strategy.
4. Identify commercial risks and opportunities in current pricing and propose appropriate actions and continuous process improvement.
5. Engage with the global sales team and dealer network on market feedback and implement appropriate actions.
6. Develop and refine the pricing strategy implemented within the pricing software.
This will be suited to you if:
1. Enthusiastic, positive, and driven by an eagerness to learn and develop.
2. Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
3. Strong analytical skills with an ability to turn problems into solutions.
4. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel & SAP.
5. A high level of attention to detail is essential.
6. Experience/knowledge of commercial or financial business principles with a good understanding of financial terminology.
7. Basic knowledge of construction / agricultural machinery preferable but not essential.
