Due to expansion, Trinity are seeking a Senior SHE Manager to be based out of our office in Wolverhampton. Trinity is a 10-year joint venture between global knowledge enterprise Enzen and Sapphire Utility Solutions. The partnership's mission is to enable Cadent, the UK's largest gas distribution network, to deliver a safer, more resilient and more sustainable gas system to communities in the West Midlands for generations to come. About the role: You will be the Senior eyes and ears in relation to all things Safety, Health and Environment across the CMO contract and be responsible for driving the Safety culture. You will be responsible for leading a team of Advisors, Administrators and Compliance Auditors to successfully ensure SHE is at the top of every agenda. Working directly for the Head of SHE, you will be expected to report on every area of the function including training, compliance to policy, legislation and improvement activities. Location: Willenhall, Wolverhampton Salary: £65,000-£70,000 per annum (DOE) Hours per week: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Responsibilities – but not limited to: Lead a high performing team with a focus on improving health & safety, engineering compliance, and competence and training standards within the CMO and the Supply Chain. Develop, implement, and review industry leading policies and working procedures to enable safe and productive delivery of work in accordance with client requirements. Act as the business lead for all health and safety matters across Trinity identifying and responding to current legal and best practice requirements whilst incorporating specific Client requirements. Ensure and monitor compliance with Key HSE legislation (eg CDM, Temporary Works, HSWA). Assist with the strategic direction for effective health and safety management and appropriate workplace wellbeing programmes for Trinity employees (including mental health first aid). Work proactively with the Head of She, the Senior Leadership Team, the Client, and other key stakeholders to maintain a programme of continuous improvement in the management of health, safety and wellbeing. Effectively coordinate the Safety & Assurance Management team to ensure compliance requirements are being controlled, documented and maintained in accordance with regulations and guidelines. Manage effective reporting and communications on HSEQ issues both internally and externally. Provide direct support and counsel to the SLT on HSEQ matters ensuring that works are conducted in accordance with the JV Safety Principles.
