Job Description

Qualified Social Worker, Team Manager, Gloucestershire Council, Children & Adults Assessment Team - Must be a Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within an Adult or Children Social Work team.

The team works extremely well together to ensure the safety of vulnerable adults under the close supervision of a supportive Team Manager.

The responsibilities will include:

1. Team Manager sought for a supplementary 4th Response Team at South Gloucestershire Council. This is an assessment team operating on a duty rota basis.
2. Team is made up of 4 agency social workers, operating alongside 3 other Response (duty) teams, and a Newly Qualified Social Worker Team.
3. Managing front door assessment teams is essential.
4. Liaise with other professionals.
5. 36 hours per week (flexible by negotiation).
6. 2 Month Temporary Contract.
7. Start date subject to DBS and reference clearance.
