This is a great opportunity for someone new to the Tanker industry to learn from a team working in a safe and clean environment using high spec equipment. This role is open to someone who has a mechanical background or is comfortable and confident being in a hands-on job role Key Accountabilities & Hours Ensuring Periodic Vessel Testing is completed in line with our Safe Operating Procedure Carrying out running defect repairs Diagnosing faults Working on General Purpose and Gas tanks Purging out of flammable vessels Repairs to Pneumatic operating systems Access to the inside of vessels to carry out inspections and repairs There will be exceptional opportunities to be trained: in Working at Height, Manual Handling, Confided Space, Breathing Apparatus, Permit Writing, Abrasive Wheels and Rescue from Tank where required.
