Our client, operating within the nuclear and water sectors, is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team on a contract basis in Ipswich, specifically for the Sizewell C project.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing all aspects of project delivery from inception to completion
Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met
Developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Conducting regular progress meetings and reporting on project status
Identifying and mitigating project risks
Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure their expectations are met
Implementing quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in project management, preferably within the nuclear or water sectors
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous
Willingness to work on a contract basis and be located in or travel to Ipswich
