Job Purpose:
As Technical Sales Manager, you will deliver profitable sales of our high-quality products and services from your assigned region and customer target base. Develop dynamic relationships with key clients, and potential clients, ensuring awareness of our unique product benefits, and value, are known within the market. Prepare project specific proposals and deliver value driven pitches to potential customers. Engage with team members by sharing product knowledge and market insights so that the collective culture of ‘winning’ is always supported and strengthened.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years Sales Mgmt experience consistently achieving above target results focused on key new target clientele such as Main Contractors, Consultant Engineers, Architects etc.
The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work remotely whilst regularly travelling to meet customers and colleagues on site as appropriate.
Key Accountabilities:
* Contribute to the development of a groupwide sales strategy.
* Develop plans for achieving market share targets within assigned target customer base and region.
* Develop and agree tactical sales plans for each product stream assigned.
* Commit resiliently to meet and exceed assigned annual sales targets in collaboration with Management.
* Support delivery of the sales strategy by identifying and actioning opportunities to ensure awareness and traction of our products and services.
* Engage in regular updates providing accurate and insightful updates on progress, sales and customer/market insights.
* Build and maintain collaborative relationships with strategic customers through partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
* Monitor Industry-specific trends and landscapes sharing findings and highlighting opportunities amongst team and management.
* Effectively communicate Company value proposition through leading presentations and value engineering proposals.
* Develop and maintain a sales management and reporting framework ensuring clarity and transparency with the Management team.
Key Candidate Experience & Competencies:
* A minimum of 4 years relevant senior sales management experience.
* Built environment industry experience a distinct advantage.
* Relevant Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or Engineering a distinct advantage.
* Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and customer-first mindset.
* Dynamic and passionate self-starter with a resilient target delivery mindset.
* Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills and a real team-first approach.
* Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good planning, time management and organizational skills.
* Proficient IT applications and reporting expertise.
