Conversion rate optimization (CRO) manager - 9 months contract
Job Description
In this exciting role, you will lead efforts to increase website conversion rates. You will analyze user behavior, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to boost performance. Please note that we offer the contract for 9 months (until the end of the year).
You are responsible for:
* Leading and driving conversion optimization on Philips website across the globe.
* Setting up and running A/B tests, interpreting the results, and growing the optimization knowledge base to share learnings across the organization.
* Ensuring a high standard of experimentation quality and challenging the team on this.
* Collaborating with multiple stakeholders including product owners, UX designers, analysts, developers, and regional managers.
* Leading the creation, in collaboration with key stakeholders, of an integrated testing and analytics roadmap.
* Advising and supporting the product teams on incorporating A/B testing in a continuous improvement way.
* Influencing the culture of experimentation and promoting a test-and-learn approach across Philips.
* Advancing the CRO capability with a strategic mindset, ensuring the right balance between A/B testing for incremental improvements and broader website transformation initiatives, such as re-platforming.
* Defining best practices for when and how to apply experimentation in large-scale website changes, ensuring that insights from testing inform transformational decisions.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
* Bachelor or Master level qualification in Business, (Digital) Marketing, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a CRO role.
* A strong experience with conversion optimization, including user experience and web analytics.
* A customer-focused, data-driven, and goal-oriented mindset, with a strong eye for detail.
* The ability to set out and follow a clearly structured plan.
* Experience with strategic decision making, including prioritization and aligning these decisions with (senior) stakeholders and management.
Preferred:
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript is an advantage.
* Experience working with experimentation and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Target.
* Experience in e-commerce and website optimization on a global scale.
* Experience in agency management is preferred.
