Our manufacturing client based in the Deeside area are currently looking to recruit a HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. As the HR Advisor you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR Business Partner and will be the first line of HR support for employees and managers on all things HR. This is an integral role within the team and whilst it will be ER focused, there is a full generalist remit giving opportunities to get involved with wider initiatives such as wellbeing, engagement initiatives and recruitment and selection, helping embed company values across all activities and ensuring a smooth flow of day-to-day operations.
Performance Objectives
• To collaborate closely with the HR Business Partner to manage your caseload effectively, ensuring a consistent and robust approach to employee relations matters, offering friendly but practical advice and coaching to managers on a variety of issues, such as disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance.
• Provides general support on the full HR lifecycle and operational activities from onboarding to exit interviews, performance management and recruitment processes, family friendly leave and employment contracts.
• Be confident and courageous, empowering managers and leaders to become more self-reliant in managing their teams, while ensuring all actions are in line with legal compliance.
• Support and drive continuous improvement of existing HR policies and processes.
• Assisting with key HR initiatives, such as wellbeing and engagement programs, our employee forum, and reward and recognition schemes.
• Be able to provide data-driven insights using reports to help optimize people management and processes throughout the employee lifecycle.
Person Specification
• Previous experience as a HR Advisor (or equivalent) in a fast-paced environment.
• CIPD qualified or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and organisation skills, with attention to detail.
• Employee Relations experience with the ability to prepare documentation and outcome for formal meetings.
• Able to use initiative and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to build credible working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong MS office skills
