An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT) to work as Band 6 Occupational Therapists.
We have two posts, a fixed term contract at 22.5 hours per week to cover maternity leave, and a permanent post at 30 hours per week.
The roles are based within the Older Adult Community Mental Health Team at Charnley Fold in Bamber Bridge.
We are looking to appoint two dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking Occupational Therapists with an interest working with older adults who wants to expand their clinical skills within mental health. You will have excellent communication skills and can demonstrate sound clinical assessment skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Charnley Fold is a supportive and friendly place to work. You will have the opportunity to further develop and enhance your skills and will be expected to provide professional supervision for our Band 5 and Band 4 Occupational Therapy staff. You will receive professional supervision from a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist. There are plenty of opportunities for professional development including evidence based practice forums, Occupational Therapy best practice forums, continuing professional development training sessions, and an AHP research forum. We highly value staff health and wellbeing and provide opportunities for one to one and group time within work as well as regular social meet ups.
