The Role As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our firm, setting the initial tone for clients and visitors. You will play a vital role in maintaining the client facing areas with regular checks throughout the day and after each meeting and be required to carry out 'walk arounds' to ensure office space. As part of the Reception team you are expected to use a high degree of self-management, initiative, attention to detail and be able to multi-task. The day to day: Greeting and welcoming clients Providing teas and coffees to clients and arranging catering where required Maintaining client facing areas with regular checks throughout the day and after each meeting Ensuring the meeting room is set up and has the correct items (i.e. notepads, sanitizer, water bottles (if requested) and the correct number of chairs) Coordinating meeting room bookings and managing which meeting is in each room Checking video conferencing works before meetings and logging into the systems Making sure the sign in book is completed Maintaining levels of stationery and providing accounts with order lists Sorting and scanning post, including recording hand-delivered post, recorded deliveries and documents to be collected. Franking and taking the post to the post office each day (including recorded deliveries). Entering all contacts on to SOS, entering ID requirements and scanning in ID requirements as agreed Take messages for teams throughout the day Emptying dishwasher and cleaning the coffee machine What experience do I need? This role will suit someone with excellent customer service that has previous reception/front of house experience ideally within a professional services environment. What skills should I have?
