The Digital Design Collaborative (DDC) is a group of NHS Acute Trusts in the East Midlands Region of England who have come together to strategically plan and collaborate on their collective digital transformation journey, with the ambition to strategically operate as one health care system.

The DDC member organisations have embarked on a digital excellence journey to implement a nationally leading Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system that will transform the quality of care for their patients and staff by having instantly accessible information using the latest mobile technology, reducing paper usage and utilising clinical decision support tools.

Main duties of the job
Initially based at Chesterfield Royal Hospital (CRH) and University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB), flexibility is required across the main hospital sites (Chesterfield Royal Hospital, Royal Derby Hospital, Queen's Burton, Samuel Johnson Hospital Litchfield, Sir Robert Peel Hospital Tamworth and Florence Nightingale Hospital Derby).
As the EPR Digital Systems Trainer, you will work as part of the team to successfully implement the training and support for the launch of the EPR systems for the EMAP DDC partner organisations. Working across the EAMP DDC sites to support the delivery of training material in a multi-faceted environment.
You will offer facilitated learning for users across the Trusts, enabling them to understand and use our EPR system and all supporting technology to underpin this education. You will be required to deliver training sessions in both virtual and face-to-face settings. You will also support the initial development of materials to support learning in a variety of formats including eLearning and facilitated sessions.

Person Specification
Qualifications and Training
* Educated to A-Level or equivalent experience (preferably in a Learning & Development or related discipline)
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
* A Training / Development qualification at Level 4 or higher
Experience
* Experience of organising and scheduling activities and resources
* Stakeholder management experience, to influence, build, and sustain relationships to achieve results.
* Experience of working to and meeting deadlines
* Experience of generating Digital Learning content in a healthcare environment
* Experience of delivering entry-level training to a wide user group within a healthcare environment
* IT Training experience
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Good interpersonal/communication skills
* Ability to work in line with optimal processes
* Motivation to learn new skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office products
* Practical experience of training in a professional setting.
* Good understanding of ICT Training processes

* Knowledge of statutory provisions relating to Information Technology (including Data Protection Act, Caldicott, Misuse of Computers Act etc)
