Job Responsibilities:
1. Undertake business assurance assessments and recommend certification, deferral, suspension, or withdrawal of certification, validation, or verification against the appropriate standards, timescales, and procedures.
2. Lead large assessment teams or act as Coordinating Assessor for Key Accounts, ensuring assessment requirements are completed within agreed timescales, coordinating team findings to reach conclusions and timely production of visit or summary reports.
3. Produce high-quality assessment reports or summary reports, reflecting business assurance principles in compliance with timescales, accreditation requirements, and internal procedures.
4. Maintain sufficient awareness of LRBA’s service range to enable proactive discussions with clients about our products and services.
5. Ensure clients and all internal stakeholders are informed of changes and issues relating to the delivery of the role, escalating as appropriate.
6. Identify client needs and promote additional or higher value services while actively building strong and positive relationships. Collaborate with business management to provide opportunities and sales leads to appropriate colleagues to support business development activities.
7. Provide timely client feedback and insights to appropriate internal recipients, initiating and leading client improvement projects as required.
8. Maintain professional competence appropriate to your role, keeping abreast of technical and other developments in your area of expertise, participating in organized training events or meetings, maintaining personal CPD records, updating LRBA CV, maintaining professional registrations, and producing records of competence as required.
9. Participate in projects and additional ad hoc tasks as directed in a prompt and efficient manner, such as assessor development, product development, training material development, or projects. Support the delivery of commercial training services where directed.
10. Support the deployment of new assessors by Supervising Assessors Under Training, providing coaching to new assessors or team members, recommending authorisation and further development activities as appropriate. Mentor less experienced Lead Assessors to assist in the development of their professional skills.
