Jackson Hogg is retained in their search for multiple HGV Technicians to manage a large Fleet Maintenance operation for their Teesside based operation.
You will be responsible for servicing, repairing and diagnosing faults on a range of electrical and mechanical vehicles ranging from light and small vans, forklifts, and larger trucks and HGVs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Servicing, repairing and diagnosing a range of electrical and mechanical systems on vehicles.
* Competently and safely working on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
* Follow company methods for ordering parts and manufacturers warranty claim procedures.
* Knowledge of vehicle MOT and Fault Diagnostics process and procedures.
* Follow all Health and Safety procedures and standards.
* Work independently or as part of a team.
To be successful, you will:
* Have experience in a similar background (e.g., mechanic, vehicle repair, forklift, plant fitter, access engineer, fitters, REME, etc.).
* Possess multi-skill knowledge and safe working practices with environmental awareness.
* Work well with others or independently.
* Have a full UK driving licence (HGV licences are advantageous).
* Welding/fabricating experience is desirable but not essential.
This role offers a competitive salary on days with additional earning potential through overtime and salary reviews. There is a good amount of overtime on offer if you want it, and it is within a busy and large, varied vehicle fleet operation.
