Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for driving new user acquisition, optimising leads through to sale, revenue growth through innovative and data-driven marketing channels alongside automations to support retention.
The primary objective of this role is to execute direct to end user marketing-led initiatives to attract high volume sole trader and limited company customers and optimise more conversion using effective marketing channels.
Using a track record of successfully scaling customer acquisition channels, this role conveys a passion for digital marketing and analytics to help us deliver our ambitious growth plans.
This role is a hybrid role, so there will be a regular requirement for office working at our Projects co-working space location for up to 2 days per week. Office working for the full week, or remote working from home for the other 3 days per week is possible if you would prefer this.
Due to the regular requirement for office working, living within a reasonable travelling distance of Brighton & Hove is recommended.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
2. Utilise a data-driven approach to identify key growth opportunities, track performance metrics, and optimise marketing campaigns accordingly.
3. Manage and optimise various acquisition channels, including but not limited to website CRO and MQL/lead gen optimisation, PPC, SEO, email marketing automations/nurture campaigns, and paid social media advertising.
4. Oversee the management of our website, including maximising the capabilities of Webflow and ensuring the website is impactful to drive optimum traffic.
5. Lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives to optimise conversion rates and user engagement metrics on the website.
6. Day to day management of paid and organic campaign and channel performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in digital marketing, technology, and industry best practices.
8. Work collaboratively with the Sales team to generate quality leads, and ensure the teams operate in tandem to achieve and exceed their targets.
9. Collaborate effectively with the Transformation & Product team to work on marketing data analysis, project activity such as the implementation of new marketing systems and tools, and consider how we can market our product offering to best effect.
10. Ensure that legal and regulatory requirements from a department and company perspective are considered and met at all times, such as adherence to ‘Crunch Essentials’ compliance, to minimise or mitigate any potential commercial or reputational risks to Crunch.
11. Work closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure a high performing Marketing team, ensuring priorities are set, reviewed and met as per agreed timescales. Drive the personal development of the team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
12. Set individual and team objectives and targets, measure progress and embrace the optimisation of the Hibob system for setting and tracking company and department goals, conducting quarterly reviews and 121’s.
13. Manage people related matters with direct reports, lead or support daily standups and plan team cover (including freelancer availability) during peak holiday periods to ensure we have sufficient resources to complete agreed tasks.

Role Specific Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Direct experience in growth marketing, digital marketing channels including PPC (with direct hands-on experience managing AdWords campaigns), paid social media and SEO, in a related field, preferably in the SaaS technology or fintech sector.
3. Proficiency in content management systems (e.g. Webflow, WordPress), email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Pardot, Marketing Cloud), and social media paid advertising platforms.
4. Proven track record of directly driving user acquisition and revenue growth through effective marketing strategies and tactics.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights, with experience of using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) development.
6. Use of martech reporting platforms such as Looker Studio.
7. Knowledge of the accounting, finance, or fintech industry.
8. Professional marketing accreditations such as from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
