Multi Skilled Electrician
Location: Ashington (base location)
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £37,292 per annum, OTE circa £43,000 per annum (including standby payments).
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Electrician to join our Property Maintenance and Construction Department working within our Ashington maintenance teams.
As a multi skilled Electrician you will be responsible for undertaking all electrical repairs and associated multiskilled repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high-quality standard whilst delivering an excellent customer service.

To be successful in this role you will have a flexible approach and experience of working within a domestic and commercial property maintenance and target driven environment. You will be required to engage with all stakeholders of the service, acting as an Ambassador of Bernicia, promoting and endorsing the positive work that we do across our communities in the Bernicia way. For the technical bit, you will have a sound working knowledge of your trade discipline and exhibit sound knowledge of the wider building construction sector, understanding components, materials, building trades and applicable regulations. It is therefore essential that you hold a NVQ/City & Guilds Certificate qualifying you as an Electrician together with the 18th Edition, Testing & Inspection and a full driving licence. You will also be able to demonstrate experience of working in a customer focussed environment where the customer comes first.
