Job Description
The Senior HR Advisor will provide expert guidance on HR policies, supports employee relations, and ensures compliance with UK employment law. They are responsible for supporting all areas of the HR function including recruitment, talent management, reward, employee lifecycle and learning and development initiatives, helping to foster a positive workplace culture and drive organisational success.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a SME organisation within the Energy & Natural Resources sector. Known for their commitment to sustainability and innovation, they strive to be at the forefront of their industry whilst maintaining a strong focus on their people and culture.\n\nDescription\n\nEmployee Relations: Manage low to complex ER cases independently (conduct, capability, grievances, absence).\nManager Capability: Deliver HR training and coaching to strengthen line management skills.\nChange & Projects: Lead/support change management processes and HR projects aligned with the People Plan and strategy.\nRecruitment & Onboarding: Own recruitment processes, advise on talent strategies, and ensure smooth onboarding.\nTalent & Succession: Drive talent management, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives.\nHR Operations: Support payroll, admin, lifecycle tasks, policy updates, and ensure accurate people data and systems.\nPerformance & Absence: Monitor performance, sickness, probation, and behavior management; promote proactive interventions.\nEngagement & Reporting: Lead engagement activities, support L&D and reward cycles, and produce insightful HR reports and metrics.Profile\n\nA successful Senior HR Advisor should have:\n\nCIPD Level 5 or equivalent\nProven experience in a similar HR role within the Energy, construction, engineering, manufacturing or facilities industry.\nOutstanding knowledge of HR functions and best practices.\nExcellent understanding of employment law and HR best practices.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong decision-making and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to travel to site once per monthJob Offer\n\nA competitive salary range of £50,000 to £55,000.\n25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays + an additional wellbeing day each year.\nBenefits: Private Medical, Pension contribution, life assurance, recognition scheme, retailer discounts.\nOpportunities for professional development and growth.\nA supportive and inclusive work culture.\nExcellent location in the heart of London.This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organisation within the Energy & Natural Resources industry in London.
