Planning of all activities relating to configurationmanagement and release for the Dreadnought program via aconfiguration management plan
* Design and maintenance ofprocesses to implement the configuration management and releaseactivities as identified in theplan
Ensuring configuration managementactivities are discharged in accordance with theplan Management of the release of anddelivery of products to both internal and externalcustomer Work with internal stakeholders toidentify their configuration management and reporting requirementsand ensuring that these requirements are captured in the plans andprocesses Leading configuration auditactivities (i.e. FCA/PCA)
* Leadership and coaching of theconfiguration management team
* Interfacing with the platformconfiguration management team to ensure that platformconfigurations are accurately maintained
Your skills andexperiences:
Essential
* Degree qualified (RQF Level 6/SCQF Level 9) orequivalent experience in a technology, engineering or sciencerelated discipline
Registered as CEng (or candemonstrate eligibility and commitment to register for CEng within12 months of appointment)
* Member of a ProfessionalEngineering Institute recognised by the EngineeringCouncil
Desirable
CM2certified Experience of configuration and release management in aregulated industry (such as defence, aerospace, rail, oil &gas, nuclear or automotive)
