Join our rapidly growing team at Evelyn in the North East, where you’ll engage with regionally focused clients, including large SMEs and high net worth individuals. This role offers opportunities in advisory compliance and project management, providing a unique opportunity to advance your career and develop strategic and commercial skills.
About the role
To build and develop trusted relationships with current and potential clients. To be responsible for providing personalised investment advice and portfolio management to the client, ensuring that investment portfolios are managed in line with the Company’s investment philosophies & process.
1. To look after and support client needs
2. To build new client relationships and develop existing client relationships through effective. ongoing service to help minimise attrition, and to deliver new instructions and referrals as a result of satisfied clients
3. Structure and lead client meetings in a professional manner, ensuring all information provided is up to date, technically accurate and meets clients’ needs
4. To construct & maintain suitable portfolios in line with the clients’ requirements, circumstances, tax situation and attitude to risk
5. To review portfolios regularly and make portfolio changes consulting with colleagues, where appropriate
6. To work in partnership with Financial Planning (FP)and Professional Services (PS) colleagues to develop client relationships
7. Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times and in line with Group policy
Qualifications
What we're looking for
8. Minimum Level 6 Qualified or Chartered status
9. Understanding of the financial services industry and investment market
10. Experience of managing client investment portfolios and providing investment advice
11. Experience of remodelling newly acquired portfolios and bringing them into line with the investment policy
12. Technical / product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging investment Management strategies and solutions
13. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
14. Experience of leading pitches and winning new business
15. Experience of operating within a risk management framework together with a thorough understanding of the risks and threats pertaining to a private client business
