We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the team as the Operations Director to oversee a remit of SEN Schools.
Role Overview:
As the Operations Director, you will be at the forefront of innovation, overseeing and guiding the growth, development, and operational success of our SEN schools. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in multi-site management.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Operations Director, you will play a critical leadership role, ensuring the smooth operation and high performance of SEN schools within your region. Responsibilities include:
1. Providing strategic leadership and direction to headteachers and senior management teams across schools in your region.
2. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, individualized education and care for all students in alignment with regulatory standards and best practices.
3. Developing and implementing regional strategies to improve educational outcomes and student progress.
4. Managing operational and financial performance, including budget oversight, staffing, and resource allocation.
5. Ensuring compliance with SEN regulations, safeguarding policies, and health & safety protocols.
6. Fostering a positive, inclusive culture that promotes the well-being of staff and students.
7. Leading on the recruitment, retention, and professional development of school leaders and teaching staff.
8. Building relationships with local authorities, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance the reputation of the schools and secure positive outcomes for students.
9. Reporting to the senior leadership team on regional performance, providing insights, data, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven leadership experience in the education sector, within SEN or specialist schools.
Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
Exceptional people management and team leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
A strategic mindset with the ability to drive school improvement and manage complex operations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships.
Salary:
Salary of £90,000 per annum.
Car Allowance.
Performance-based bonus scheme.
Location:
This role will oversee the remit located closest to them.
