PREVIOUS INDUSTRIES: Fire & Security Solutions, Fire Alarms, Security Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Electronics, Servicing and Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Engineering, CCTV ROLE: Fire & Security Engineer - Alarms and CCTV You will be responsible for the installation, service and maintenance of Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control Systems. Familiarity with systems including Texecom, Galaxy, Paxton, Net 2, Scantronic, ACT, Hikvision, Dahua, ACT, Morley, Advanced, C-Tec, Advanced, Pyronix highly desirable. Proven experience in the Fire and security industry is essential with high level of fault finding skills and adept at resolving technical issues. This role requires travel across South Wales. EXPERIENCE: Fire & Security Engineer - Alarms and CCTV You will have experience installing, servicing and maintaining fire and security systems including Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control. You will have working knowledge of a range of equipment including Texecom, Galaxy, Paxton, Net 2, Scantronic, ACT, Hikvision, Dahua, ACT, Morley, Advanced, C-Tec, Advanced, Pyronix. You will possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of wiring and electronic principles. You will hold ECS and IPAF qualifications, with any additional certifications or accreditations from the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) or the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) considered highly advantageous. Fire Industry Association (FIA) certification, BTEC Level 3 in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems, or NVQ Level 2/3 in Electronic Security and Emergency Systems also beneficial. A valid driving licence is required for this role and you will be happy to travel, predominantly covering South Wales.
