An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Health Visitor to work in the 0-19+ Service at Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The post requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable, compassionate and approachable. You will need to have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, be flexible, solution-focused, and support service development.
You will work as part of an integrated 0-19+ Team and will be required to support the full delivery of the Healthy Child Programme and manage a caseload of universal partnership and partnership plus families. You will also be involved in a range of public health activities within a geographical area, including individuals, groups, and communities.
As a key stakeholder in the safeguarding of children, you will be required to work collaboratively with other agencies to meet their needs. You will have a good knowledge of the components of Clinical Governance, Risk Management, Audits, and relevant Professional Codes.

Qualifications & Training
* RN (Adult or Child/RSCN) or RM
* BSc/Public Health Nursing - Health Visiting or equivalent
* V100 Nurse Prescriber
* Motivational Interviewing trained
* Solihull Approach trained
* Promotional Interviewing trained
Experience & Knowledge
* Experience of managing a Health Visiting caseload
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Experience of leading the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care
* Experience of integrated working
* Ability to use email, internet, and word processing software
* Sound knowledge of safeguarding issues
