Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader in PVC polymer manufacturing for the position of Supply Chain Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join the senior leadership team and drive operational excellence across the entire supply chain.
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
* Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
About the Role:
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including production planning, procurement, transportation, inventory control, and warehousing. You will lead and mentor a dynamic team to ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization while maintaining high service levels. This role plays a critical part in shaping the company's supply chain strategy and achieving competitive success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement systems for tracking and communication throughout the supply chain.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key global suppliers, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 quality standards.
* Manage inventory control, demand planning, and implement a robust demand management process.
* Lead the implementation of planning tool software.
* Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to streamline logistics operations and uphold health and safety standards.
* Drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining margins.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
* Partner with Sales and Marketing teams on new product development.
* Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
* Mentor and manage a team of four, including the Planning Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Warehouse Manager.
* Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
* Maintain adherence to standards for FSC controlled wood, PEFC chain of custody, and RSB Advanced Products.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of Supply Chain management experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Proven ability to organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
* Analytical mindset with excellent business acumen.
* Comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes.
* Clear, persuasive communicator with strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
* SAP experience is essential.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
