This role involves collaborating with various departments to assess training needs, develop curricula, and ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to achieve business goals.PermanentSmethwick£50,000 - £55,000Key Responsibilities Works with department heads and other key stakeholders to identify skill gaps and development opportunities. Utilize things like survey, interviews and performance data to determine training requirements. Design and develop comprehensive L&D programs, including onboarding, technical training, leadership development, and soft skills enhancement. Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually. Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve L&D initiatives. Support succession planning and talent development initiatives by identifying high-potential employees and creating personalized development plans. Manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and optimal use of resources. Key Skills Minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning and development, with a proven track record in designing and delivering successful training programs. Experience in GAP analysis is key Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with diverse teams. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and improve training effectiveness.
