About the role
We are recruiting a Support Worker to enable and empower our fabulous young people, in partnership with their families and colleagues. It will be your job to support our young people to make their own decisions and reach their full potential in an excellent residential setting. You will be required to support our young people in a personalised way and respond to their needs, wishes and aspirations. You will also be part of supporting the delivery of high-quality care, health, and therapy. You will be supporting our young people to develop their independence and daily living skills within their evening routine.
During the evenings, our young people like to participate in meaningful activities such as swimming or social clubs. They like to get out, explore and socialise, you will help support with accessing leisure and social activities within the community. InFocus will support you every step of the way by providing an excellent, well designed induction programme along with mandatory training which will help you get off to the best possible start, by ensuring that you fully understand your role and the part you play in the wider organisation. About you
We are looking for kind, friendly and compassionate people, with a can-do approach and the drive to make a difference to the lives of our young people through learning. You will be a person who likes to have fun and enjoys working as part of a team in a busy environment. You will be ambitious for our young people with a strong belief in their potential to learn and make progress.
Previous experience in a similar role is not necessary. InFocus will support you every step of the way by providing an excellent, well designed induction programme along with mandatory training to help you get off to the best possible start, by ensuring that you fully understand your role and the part you play in the wider organisation. Working pattern
Our Rota BL working pattern, 32.5 or 26 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday.
