Rate/Salary: Up to £38,000 DOE + Bonus + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Discounted Products
Hours: Days, 40 hours per week
JOB SPECIFICATION:
HSE Manager required for a well-established, successful manufacturer who supply to a global market. They boast a great work/team environment within a growing company. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the sole H&S representative across 2 sites, grow a HSE department and to assist with the implementation of ISO 14001 and other continuous improvement projects.
The role would suit H&S professionals, HSE Managers who have previous experience within manufacturing or production facilities. Applicants will ideally be NEBOSH or IOSH qualified and must be prepared to have complete responsibility for Health and Safety across a busy environment. Applicants must be up to date with legal compliance.
The role will involve spearheading Health, Safety and Environmental Practices across the site. You will be responsible for writing policy, updating policy and communicating changes from entry level to director level. You will ensure all employees are H&S trained/inducted and you will coach, train and influence practices to minimize risk. Relationship building and working cross-functionally will be of key importance in this role.
The Role:
1. Complete responsibility for H&S across 2 sites
2. Training, coaching, and mentoring employees on all HSE aspects
3. Writing policies, communicating changes and cultural changes
4. Assist with ISO 14001 accreditation
5. DAYS Based Role. 40 Hours
The Person:
1. Must be an experienced HSE professional
2. Will ideally have experience in production/manufacturing environment
3. Must be IOSH/NEBOSH qualified
