This is a permanent, fulltime post of 37 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday.
The post forms part of the business support team and provides comprehensive, administrative, and secretarial service to the Addiction Services multidisciplinary team. The post-holder will be an efficient administrator who contributes significantly to achievement of the role of the service through provision of a variety of administrative and secretarial roles. The post holder will be required to provide an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative service to all members of the team. It is essential that the post holder is a proficient typist with excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of disciplines.
The post holder will be required to deal with referrals and enquiries daily, provide reception cover, undertake call handling and also support the generic functions and duties administered within the wider Addiction Services Business Support section as required.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
