Key
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Bar Manager, to support the efficient
running of the bar department
* Undertake all Bar Manager responsibilities in their
absence
* Undertake all bartender responsibilities where
relevant/needed
* Monitor and drive Spend Per Head in your department
* Effectively organise and run shifts as a duty
manager
* Ensure that all Bar consumables are kept to par and
are within budget spend
* Take responsibility for all Bar stock control
including, wastage, ordering, invoicing, stock levels and maintenance in your
department
* Ensure a two-week rota is available for the Bar
team at all times, working a month in advance for forecast rota
* Ensure that team staff levels are assessed weekly
and actively recruit if needed
* Take a lead on all Bar recruitment and ensure an
excellent candidate experience throughout the process.
* Onboarding of new staff, including full restaurant
training and all CPL compliance is completed
* Ensure your department has an up to date Talent
Pipeline with training needs and succession plans
* Ensure health checks are conducted once a month
with an action plan produced and delegated amongst the team to ensure
completion
* Ensure all Health & Safety policies are met,
including all legislative and licencing requirements
Required Qualifications &
Experience:
* Experience in a similar role
* Team management experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised
and capable of handling multiple tasks
* A proactive self-starter who can work independently
with good judgement and minimal direction
