Following a recent uplift to the nursing establishment, an exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated nurses to work in a busy Haematology & Oncology Day Unit.
We are looking for enthusiastic nurses who can work dynamically and at a fast pace to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
We have close links with Hope for Tomorrow who support by the loan of 2 Mobile Cancer Care Units. The successful candidates will have a clear vision of quality care delivery and will be committed to helping to develop and improve the Haematology / Oncology service at Airedale General Hospital.

Main duties of the job
To work on the Haematology Oncology Day Unit (HODU) & Mobile Cancer Care Units (MCCU) supporting patients and their carers who are receiving chemotherapy and supportive treatments for haematology/oncology conditions.
The post is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team which includes pharmacy, specialist nurses, and MCCU team. The postholder will contribute towards the development of clinical practice and self-development and perform procedures required of the role and be prepared to learn new skills relevant to the role including administering chemotherapy.
