About the role of Content Writer
* To work in a busy research team drafting high quality, error free PR material in line with set briefs and provides timely, accurate and actionable data and recommendations to support business decision-making.
* Create high quality content for Information Memorandums and assist in the selling of Corporate businesses.
* To liaise effectively with buyers, building great relationships and follow up on non-disclosure agreements.
* To research markets/sectors/buyers/clients as required, interpret press releases and news articles related to mergers and acquisitions in the UK and overseas.
* Using this information and data analysis handle Corporate sale instructions and generate initial interest.
* Research and process press releases and news articles related to mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, PTOs, venture capital/private equity funding rounds and other corporate transactions in the UK and overseas.
* Maintain and develop company deals databases by creating research department tools and procedures.
* Provide timely, accurate and actionable data and recommendations to support business decision-making with internal business partner.
About you
* Strong copywriting and research skills with experience of research tools and capabilities.
* Accurate and with attention to detail, have the ability to work individually or successfully as a team.
* Comfortable engaging with clients and buyers over the telephone / MS Teams.
* Proficient in writing reports on research and conducting market analysis.
* Clear communicator, both verbal and written, using a concise and persuasive manner.
* Proactive and takes initiative, follows up on required documents to complete workload.
* Good problem-solving skills, able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Interacts professionally with colleagues and clients, building great relationships at all levels.
Experience/ Skills for the role of Content Writer
* Similar role of research and content would be desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
* Highly organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines, KPI’s and set targets.
* Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, Excel, Word, Outlook.
