We are looking for Volunteers to join a team of Crisis Response Volunteers to help support any emergencies and incidents that occur in Uttlesford. Working with partner organisations (Red Cross, Uttlesford District Council, Transport, etc.), we often provide humanitarian aid to refugees arriving in the country due to our proximity to Stansted Airport.
This role will be very varied depending on the needs and can range from activities like arranging shelter, travel, food, and medical information for people arriving or residing in Uttlesford due to a local, national, or international emergency.
You will always be working in a small team alongside other organisations. Full training will be provided.
This role will be on an as-needed basis, but occasionally it may be at short notice, depending on the emergency and the situation.

Training will be provided and must be attended. This will take place in Uttlesford.
