Responsibilities: Lead on high-value non-contentious construction matters, drafting and negotiating complex construction documents. Cultivate and strengthen client relationships through proactive and strategic advice. Play a key role in expanding the construction offering and identifying new market opportunities. Champion the adoption of legal technology and the development of efficient processes. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): A minimum of 10 years' experience in a non-contentious construction role within a reputable UK law firm. Deep understanding of construction law, project development, and contract management. Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and developing strong client relationships. Passion for integrating legal technology and developing streamlined processes. Strong mentoring skills and ability to support the professional development of junior lawyers. Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience): Experience with JCT, NEC, FIDIC, and bespoke contracts for large-scale projects.
