We are seeking for motivated ED and ward nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals requiring further observation, assessment, or treatment. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, contributing to clinical decisions, patient recovery, and timely discharge.

Main duties of the job
You will conduct clinical assessments of patients admitted to CDU, including observations and pain levels, ensuring early detection of any deterioration or changes.
You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care needs of patients from admission to discharge home or transfer to the inpatient wards.
You will assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans for patients based on clinical assessment.
You will administer medications, treatments, and interventions prescribed, ensuring adherence to Trust policies, guidelines, and procedures.
You will collaborate with the MDT to ensure holistic patient care .
You will maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely documentation of patient care in accordance to Trust policies.
You will be a motivated and compassionate nurse who is dedicated to delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
You will coordinate the daily activities and operations with CDU and safely pulling patients from other areas within ED, ensuring efficient patient flow, timely assessments, and adherence to clinical protocols.
You will work closely with the Frailty Team to ensure high quality care is delivered to our patients.

5. Registered Nurse on part 1, part 2 or part 12 of the NMC register

10. Experience within an Emergency department / within a ward environment equivalent
