Payroll Advisor – Salary £27,500 to £30,000
This is a great job for someone who is eager to join a Payroll Assurance Scheme credited company. As a Payroll Advisor, you will be a key part of the lively payroll team, liaising with colleagues across the People Function and partnering with the Payroll Specialists, ensuring all payroll queries are processed or responded to in a timely manner with the greatest level of accuracy and efficiency while considering risk in everything you do.
You can utilise your previous payroll experience and develop further through our internal training platform. You will be supported by a thorough induction plan and a phenomenal team of 10. To be successful in this role, you need to have a drive to self-develop through continuous learning, the ability to work to tight and demanding deadlines, with a proactive approach to making processes click for our colleagues.
A bit about the job:
In this role, you will be liaising with colleagues and Leaders with delegated authorities to ensure all monthly data is processed as well as dealing with queries from HMRC, queries from Share schemes, and the Pension Department.
You will establish and maintain good communications with all areas of the business and its colleagues ensuring service levels are maintained and an excellent service is always provided, making each visit to payroll a pleasant one.
You will use your excellent time management experience to ensure all payroll duties are picked up, including processing court orders, new starter declarations, processing student loans, calculating statutory payment, and PAYE/NI contributions. This is a varied role working as part of the wider payroll function in Aviva.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Desirable to have CIPP qualification (or equivalent) or working towards it and must have intermediate level Microsoft Excel knowledge.
* Hands-on end-to-end payroll experience in a fast-paced company is essential.
* Stakeholder experience.
* Demonstrable resilience and ability to solve problems.
* Excellent customer service experience.

* Starting salary between £27,500 to £30,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
