Job summary The Urgent Treatment Centre is looking for a bank receptionist to join our small, friendly team. The post holder is responsible for providing the first point of contact for patients and act as a focal point of communication between patients, doctors and other medical staff. Main duties of the job We are looking for a reliable, punctual & trustworthy individual to provide a face to face point of contact for patients and act as a focal point of communication between patients, doctors and other medical staff; data entry of patient details, answer the telephone and other related tasks. The successful candidate would have previous experience of working in an office environment and the ability to multi-task, confidence with computers and a good telephone manner. The post holder should be proficient in reading and writing English. An understanding, acceptance and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality and a willingness to undergo a DBS (previously CRB) check. Previous medical receptionist experience and previous experience with the Adastra system is desirable.
