Location- Covering the Northern Region
Are you an experienced business development professional with a passion for driving new business ? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our bus and coach business.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in our growth strategy, leveraging your expertise to secure new business opportunities and build lasting relationships with key public sector stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Expand business opportunities within the Bus and Coach public sector, executing sales strategies effectively.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring top-tier customer service.
* Identify and follow up on new business prospects, both internally and externally.
* Understand various funding options related to the ownership and usage of equipment.
* Have a deep knowledge of the NHS and public sector, enabling you to excel in this challenging role.
* Develop positive working relationships across all levels of the business.
* Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales targets.
* Oversee project implementation and attend regular business meetings.
* Identify improvement areas to enhance business performance.
* Deliver impactful presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Leverage extensive knowledge of underwriting, pricing techniques, and sales strategies.
* Maintain a deep understanding of the UK broker market, financial models, and compliance regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven track record in B2B sales, particularly within the public sector.
* Ability to pursue and cultivate contacts for future business opportunities.
* Full UK driving license required.
* Extensive knowledge of CRM systems and sales databases.
* Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the sector.

* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
