Technical Architect (Fully Remote) Location: UK (Remote) Salary: Up to £45,000 2 Year Fixed Term Contract About Our Client: A leading UK charity is seeking a talented Technical Architect for a 2 year fixed term contract to shape their technological landscape and architecture, supporting their mission. This role would be suitable for a developer looking to get into solution design/architecture. Job Purpose: Design and develop the charity's technical architecture. Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify improvements and ensure solutions align with the organization's strategy. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, design, and deliver technical solutions for projects. Influence strategic architecture vision and design patterns. Ensure alignment with architectural standards. Develop and oversee proof of concepts. Resolve technical issues with internal and external teams. Maintain architecture tools for managing equipment. Design, develop, and assure infrastructure and applications. Identify risks and present alternatives. Produce and maintain test plans. Review and approve solutions as part of the Architecture Board. Facilitate architectural deliverables and patterns. Recommend improvements to current systems architecture. Support production escalations and problem resolution. Key Relationships: Internal: Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, working within Digital Operations. Collaborate with architects, security team, and support teams. External: Engage with agencies, delivery partners, and technology/data networks. Person Specification: Proven experience in designing and delivering technical solutions. Ability to translate requirements into architectural blueprints. Strong communication skills for diverse audiences. Collaborative with various stakeholders. Knowledge of architecture tools. Extensive IT, software engineering, or computer science experience. Understanding of coding languages, databases, and scripting (Microsoft and Salesforce advantageous). In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to define architecture requirements and solutions.
