What You'll Be Doing: As the brand new Head of Performance, you will oversee international paid search marketing campaigns, managing a significant portion of a multi-million-pound annual budget. Reporting to the Marketing Director, your role will be crucial in helping to achieve commercial goals through paid search, while also collaborating on a broader digital marketing strategy. You'll take charge of scaling and optimizing our Google Ads campaigns across 20 countries, ensuring strong performance across a wide range of product categories. This role offers plenty of growth opportunities, including the potential to manage other digital channels such as paid social and affiliate marketing, with a focus on expanding European sales. Key Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and optimise Google Ads campaigns for a diverse product range Collaborate with internal tech teams to drive automation and improve PPC tools for efficiency. Analyse and monitor campaign performance, adjusting strategies to meet key performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and product margin. Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and bidding strategies to continuously improve results. Manage PPC budgets effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment. Provide detailed performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Work with various departments to align on campaign strategies and execution. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies. Your skills & experiences: Proven experience in managing Google Ads for ecommerce businesses with large, varied product catalogues. Strong knowledge of Google Ads bidding strategies, campaign structures, and automated tools. Analytical mindset with hands-on experience using platforms like Google Analytics or other reporting tools. A proactive, data-driven approach to problem-solving and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present performance results to non-technical stakeholders. Experience or interest in managing other digital marketing channels, particularly paid social and affiliate marketing, is a plus.
