JOB TITLE: Cleaning Supervisor
LOCATION: Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh EH2 2LR
SHIFT PATTERN: 5 over 7
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK
PAY RATE: £12.29 PER HOUR
OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION
Working supervisor role that includes cleaning duties, supervising cleaning of office premises for a prestigious client, including washrooms, kitchens, and surrounding areas. This is an events-based job requiring a 5 over 7 working days shift rota.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Supervising staff, stock ordering, payroll, and inventory management.
2. Hoovering/mopping, cleaning washrooms, and kitchens.
3. Carrying out deep cleans as required and using buffers and carpet cleaners (training provided).
4. Ensuring premises are safe and disinfected regularly.
5. Removing waste, replenishing consumables and supplies, and attending to reactive jobs (spillages).
6. Providing customer service while working alongside the client and their staff.
Person Specification:
* Must be well presented and a good communicator.
* Must have a can-do attitude, with a polite and approachable demeanor.
* Hardworking and proactive, with good timekeeping and attendance records.
Essential:
* Previous cleaning experience preferred, with a focus on supervising work and prioritizing workload.
* Strong customer service/care and leadership skills.
* Problem-solving and time management skills desired.
