Help develop the sustainability leaders of tomorrow
The University of Reading is launching a new, flagship Global Sustainability Leaders Scholarship programme to build global sustainability leaders of the future: undergraduate students of all backgrounds and all specialisms who share Reading’s passion and values for environmental sustainability and who can bring their skills and energy to addressing the climate and nature crises. The scheme will award up to 400 new scholarships each year.
In this role you will lead the design and delivery of a comprehensive and vital programme of activities and opportunities for the scholars. You will provide overarching coordination of the scheme, working with colleagues across and beyond the University as well as with students.
This exciting new opportunity will allow you to play a key role at the University recently named as the Times/Sunday Times Sustainable University of the Year 2025.
You will have :
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong command of the English language and grammar
* Excellent project planning, management and organisational skills
* Strong understanding of environmental sustainability issues
* Knowledge of using mass communication channels, including email, social media, websites
* Proven track record of building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
