GSL Education’s South Yorkshire branch is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join our school community in Dinnington. This will be an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to inspire and motivate students through physical education and sports.
Job summary:
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality physical education lesson plans to promote students' physical fitness, health, and well-being. You will encourage interest in sports and physical activities within the students so that they develop important life skills to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver proper physical education lessons to fulfill the curriculum in an exciting manner.
* Be responsible for activities held outside class, like competitions and sports.
* Provide opportunities and conduct sports in the best way as it influences health and fitness in the interest of students.
* Ensure that all necessary health and safety requirements are met.
Essential requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
* Prior experience teaching PE at school level.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* An updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
