The Role: As Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for every aspect of our marketing strategy and execution. Working closely with our founder, you’ll develop and implement creative and cost-effective marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy: Own the entire marketing strategy, from vision to execution. Develop and execute innovative campaigns to position Presto’s barista-grade instant coffee as a must-have product in every household. Execution: Oversee both online and offline marketing initiatives, including social media, PR, email marketing, and events. Get hands-on with website updates, brand awareness campaigns, and content creation. Collaboration: Partner directly with the founder (James) to maximize growth efforts within budget constraints. Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between marketing and other business areas, particularly as we expand into supermarkets. Creative Leadership: Bring a “hustle mentality” to the role—what guerrilla marketing, PR stunts, or unconventional strategies can we adopt to stand out? Experiment with bold, cost-effective ideas to capture attention and build loyalty. Audience Understanding: Develop strategies tailored to a slightly older demographic (35), understanding their purchasing psychology and preferences. Create messaging that resonates with this audience while maintaining Presto’s bold and innovative brand voice. What We’re Looking For: Proven track record of driving growth for startups or small businesses on limited budgets. Experience targeting and engaging the 35-40 demographic with successful campaigns. Ability to think both strategically and tactically—channeling big-picture goals while diving into hands-on execution. Excellent understanding of digital and offline marketing strategies, including website development, content creation, PR, and social media. A creative, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for finding scrappy, innovative ways to achieve big results.
