We are looking for a confident, self-motivated, flexible team player to join our busy finance team and offer key support for the Head of Finance with the financial management, control and reporting for a key group within the business.
This role will be based at the Head Office in Clevedon.
About the Role
Develop processes to ensure timely and technically accurate forecast and financial information.
Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the group.
Develop processes and systems to enable to analysis of costs of goods and production along with variances.
Provide support to Project Managers ensuring all processes are understood and followed correctly.
Provide and manage any contractual financial information for example quarterly reports.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Profitability analysis on levels, variance analysis and ad hoc analysis.
Collaborate with production, supply chain and procurement teams.
Set up and maintain standard costing models to reflect accurate costs.
Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support with audit preparations.
About You
You should hold a recognised accountancy qualification and have demonstrated relevant experience within an accounting department, showing a track record of ability to implement high standards of financial control and financial management information reporting.
Experience of using Microsoft Business Central
Experience of best practice manufacturing accounting
Experience of best practice contract accounting
Analytical and able to use standard tools (financial systems and MS Excel spreadsheets)
