Responsible to the GP Partner and Business Manager. As well as meeting the Practice contractual obligations with NHS England &(NHSE), you will maintain compliance with all aspects of Health and Safety, Information Governance, employment legislation and Care Quality Commission (CQC) Regulations. Although managerial experience within the NHS is desirable, we are open to applications from a wide range of sectors. The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the organisation. You will provide positive leadership and role modelling through your understanding of Human Resources, strategic planning, and finance. The Practice Manager is integral in leading our team and interacting with all members of staff both clinical and non-clinical. You will need to be approachable and able to deal with a diverse team. Oversee all aspects of personnel management. Ensure clinics are staffed and organise cover where needed Ensure the Practices compliance with the GDPR and FOI along with other relevant legislation and professional information standards. Oversee implementation of new IT systems and procedures Ensure all job holders across the Practice adhere to their individual responsibilities for infection control and health and safety, using a system of reporting and risk management (including audits). Engage with and work with our PPG to improve services of the Practice. Maintain the Practice Website and keep updated with any changes Provide regular newsletters and Facebook posts to keep patients informed on changes at the practice This job description does not include all aspects of the post and as such the Practice Manager will be required to carry out any duties that may be reasonably requested by the GP Partner or Business Manager.
