Salary up to £80,000 DOE plus up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance.
We are currently looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Churchfield Veterinary Centre in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, but we can be flexible for a part-time role. The role would suit an organised, self-motivated progressive colleague with ideally a minimum of 2 years practice experience. The remit of the small animal department is general first opinion practice working up cases to a high level in orthopaedic, soft tissue, dental surgery and internal medicine investigations.
About Churchfield Veterinary Centre
We are an equine and small animal practice in South Yorkshire with good access to motorways and the Peak District. Our small animal team includes 2 full-time veterinary surgeons, 2 mixed small animal and equine veterinary surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses including a Head Nurse and student veterinary nurse (the practice is a training centre), 3 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager.
Our small animal clinic is well equipped with digital radiography, colour doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, dentistry facilities and in-house laboratory. We also have a small animal branch surgery in the village of Skelmanthorpe which is a 25-minute drive from Barnsley. We have an exceptional client care policy, friendly staff and veterinary support.
