Job Overview: Develop sales of products and services for the company to customers, through inbound and outbound calls whilst supporting Field sales in developing their customer portfolio.
Responsibilities:
1. Interact with Field sales and contribute towards customer action plans to improve customer satisfaction, increase market share, increase profitability and target prospective customers.
2. Pro-actively sell products/services and target new business with an emphasis on non-core products.
3. Maximise customer sales by offering added value options in pricing, services and product diversity.
4. Gather and maintain information, identify business opportunities and understand customer needs to generate further sales.
Skills and Knowledge:
1. Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
2. Excellent customer service and selling skills with an ability to cold call.
3. Basic knowledge of Papers an advantage.
4. Basic IT skills.
5. Good communication skills in both verbal and written English.
6. Active attitude, ability to analyse information, take initiatives and make decisions.
7. Ability to perform many different tasks simultaneously under time pressure.
8. Good team player.
9. Working on computerised stock control systems, managing stock levels, invoicing, credit control, weekly and monthly figures, customer diary and information on balances etc.
10. Maintaining good customer relations.
11. Adaptable, relish new creative challenges & a variety of tasks.
12. Ability to learn quickly and work on own initiative.
13. Very customer focused.
