Commercial Manager

To help us with our growth ambitions, we need a Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will lead the commercial operations function across Dyno-Rod with a focus across the 3 main Channel revenue streams - Key Accounts, Dyno-Rod Direct, & British Gas. You'll also own and be accountable for the processes, controls, and oversight on rates, payments, incentives, financial performance, and improvement areas for the unit linking in closely with the channel teams, franchisees, and central finance function.
As a Commercial Manager, you will also drive forward the best cost/value return models for delivery of required services and scope of works under the unit remit and lead on recommended approaches in new workstreams, contract revisions, and rate reviews.
Location : Remote working, with occasional travel for meetings.
About the Role:
Work with Dyno Leadership teams, Channel Leads, Finance and other cross functional teams to manage and further develop robust governance and control of financials.
The role is part of the Dyno-Rod business leadership team with accountability for setting strategic direction, plans, and priorities over the 1-5 year outlook.
Ownership of financial planning models, rate models, and scenario models for projecting future P&L requirements and current headwinds/opportunities.
Owns Reward payments and framework for Franchise Network, its review, and monthly facilitation along with query management.
Reviews trending analysis on KPI's and channels to make proactive recommendations on areas for business improvements to drive growth and/or efficiency.
Owns the development of new product/proposition business cases to predict commercial requirements, assumptions and returns.
Leads on external benchmarking of commercial models to ensure unit maintains best practise and that decision making is data led from wider market environment understanding.
About You:
Clearly evidenced track record in a commercial or performance setting with a passion for producing insight to support data led decision making.
Strong commercial and analytical mindset, as well as a drive to meet financial goals.
Excellent Excel skills, with SQL coding experience an advantage (or similar analytics toolkit usage).
Capability to absorb and interpret large amounts of potentially conflicting data sets to identify. true performance levels, key performance insights and inform decision making processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships of influence.
Experience in leading teams, preferable specialist data insight/performance teams.
